Accidental Buddhist Master #1 – The Cat

or

Not the Cat, Again

 

 

I fall over or bump

into tables and tripods today.

 

I don’t want any more

good ideas.

 

I am cranky, uncooperative. 

I sneer at my self.

 

I kick my shoes sideways

across the room.

 

I hurt my shin

and my toes.

 

I sit down

to write this poem…

 

The gray silk cat stretches –

and flows from the room.
