CHI È GIÙHA?

Giùha è un personaggio dalla doppia identità: è uno sciocco e nel contempo è un saggio! Quando il lato di sciocco della sua identità lo trascina nel bel mezzo di una situazione che normalmente non ha vie d'uscita per chi ci si trova impelegato, ecco che il lato di saggio della sua identità emerge all'improvviso; inaspettatamente, con inimmaginabili lampi di genio, Giùha si districa e riesce a cavarsela, mettendo in luce una rigorosa logica, anche se tutta sua.
Questa sua dote naturale di scavalcare a pie' pari gli ostacoli, di rompere l'assedio delle evidenze banali, di risolvere con ironica astuzia le situazioni più paradossali, il far filosofia senza rendersene conto, spremendola dal vissuto quotidiano, ne fanno un personaggio simpatico, piacevole e giocondo.

Giùha est un personnage à double facette: c'est un sot qui est en meme temps un sage. Giùha besitzt eine doppelte Persönlichkeit: er ist ein Dummkopf und gleichzeitig ein Weiser! Wenn der Dummkopf in ihm, ihn in eine normalerweise ausweglose Situation bringt, kommt plötzlich und unerwartet die weise Seite seiner Persönlichkeit zum Vorschein, mit unvorstellbarem Geistesblitz befreit sich Giùha aus der Patsche und schafft es, mit seiner eigenartig scharfsinnigen Logik davonzukommen.
Seine angeborene Geschicklickkeit, sich über Hindernisse hinwegzusetzen, die Offensichtlichkeit banaler Tatsachen zu besiegen, mit schlauer Ironie auch die paradoxesten Situationen zu lösen, durch Betrachtung des Alltags ungewollt zum Philosophen zu werden, machen aus ihm eine sympathische, angenehme, spielerische Persönlichkeit.
Handelt es sich um eine historische Person, oder um ein Produkt der volkstümlichen Phantasie? Falls es eine historische Persönlichkeit war, gab es einen oder mehrere GIÙHA?

WHO IS GOHA?

Goha is a man with a split personality: he is a buffoon and a wise man at the same time! When the buffoonish side of his nature puts him right into the midst of a situation from which there is normally no escape for those caught in it, the wise side of his character suddenly emerges; Goha unexpectedly manages to get out of the mess he is in with incredible acumen using strict logic, even if it is of his own making.
This natural ability of his of leaping over obstacles, confounding trivial evidence, solving the most paradoxical situations with ironic cunning and talking philosophy without being aware of it but extracting it from daily life makes him an appealing, pleasing, happy fellow.
Is he a historic character or a product of popular legend? And if he is a historic character, was there only one or were there several GOHAS?
Here we are not interested who, among Turks, Egyptians and Persians, is right when they claim that Goha belong to them! What counts is that, no matter whether he was Turk, Persian or Egyptian, the stories in which he figures are educational and funny, with a strong vein of philosophy.
